As with many institutions, Sierra College will continue to grow its online program. Even Oxford University has an online program. I also teach at National University, and locally all of its classes have gone online. I don’t think Sierra College will ever reach that high percentage of online classes. A strong role Sierra College will continue to fulfill is to serve the local “traditional” college student just out of high school who will probably want to have the traditional college experience of attending live classes and socializing with other students and taking part in extracurricular activities and clubs, etc. And mature students will want these experiences as well. But the online program will continue to grow to accommodate busy schedules as well as serve students who actually learn better in an online environment.
